Pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities to diminish the difference in outcomes between them and their peers.

In the 2017 to 2018 financial year, schools will receive £1,320 per pupil, for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years.

Schools have been given the autonomy to decide how best to spend the funding. Please read our Pupil Premium Strategy to see the impact this funding has had and how this year’s allocation will be spent to meet the needs of our pupils.
